Also if she releases so many things so quick people are bound to become broke and not have enough money for a single or not willing to spend more money on another single.

Yes her releasing singles fast keeps us all entertained but thats not the point. I believe the longer it takes for an artist to release an single the more anticipation it will have, I mean look at Ayu and her DAYS / Green single, sure it probably won't hit as high as Ayu but you do kinda understand what I'm trying to say right?

I prefer ku with high selling singles rather than just more singles and less sales.

Well Ku is different from those artist because she actually / probably does have a bigger name than other artists. Also quality singles will chart well, it just depends on how long can people listen to the song and not get annoyed like "Soba ni iru ne".
Remember how Ku got popular in the first place -> the were releasing singles like crazy both prior to 1st Best things, and of course the 2nd Session. And she has continued to releases at least four singles a year since, though in 2008 she just released 3, which appearently wasn't enough for AVEX.
People loosing interest doesn't have a lot to do with the fact that someone's broke and can't buy a single. We all know that boybands release multiple versions of their singles, and releases like crazy over the year, and their sales are still extremely high. And it doesn't matter TABOO had less tracks, Ai no uta and many of her other singles had the same number of tracks but still sold better. Hopefully TRICK won't go below 450 k~
