Well, seems avex has figured out that adding more "extras" will give the singles more selling power. One of the reasons why 2008 was much better than 2007 for Ayu, was because they added more extras and encouraged the fans to buy the single on the first week.
I actually like that. I never bothered to buy an Ayu single before because they were too "standard", while artists like Ai had special extras. Like her drawn photobooks and digipack.
