IMO, i thought QOP was really well executed.
it's definitely their "hardest" album in terms of style & whatnot. it's very modern and nothing compared to other JE albums. i can't think of one to compare it to, really. that's one of the reasons why i like it. it's not typical idol pop.
but tbh, for people getting into KAT-TUN's music, i'd try "Best of KAT-TUN" first. it's more ear-friendly? i guess, lol. it's definitely more "Johnny's", but very KAT-TUN too. i adore TaNaka's "ONE ON ONE".
debut & on, you'll find more harder rock and experimental tracks from them.
