Some of the analysis of the actual lyrics are a bit different than the actual japanese feelings of the lyrics.
Like, when they said "shrugging off," the translation is almost completely wrong there..
because the actual verb means exactly the opposite about it... it means "did you get serious about it" or "did you turn on them,"
something like that.
Also in the second chorus, the translations should be like in this feeling..
"Are you giving up your body to us? Do you want to stop abruptly?" They ask.
"Are you pretending not to see it, or can you just not see it?" They ask.

I think "they" in that context are those weird people following her~

I really liked the interpretations.. but they work only with english translation..
Because the way that the choruses are structure,
She isn't questioning herself,
Actually she is very determined about what she decided to do, what she knows.
She tells us what they ask her, and that kind of things,
But she answers with two full answers: "Didn't you tell me just to face forward?" and "This is not the time to play the victim."
It's quite difficult to analyze... and a bit easy to capture a different meaning through translations, right? T_T
I have to say you did a great job with those informations available~!

Anyways, I actually think that when the Mirror breaks in the song..
She came back to the real world..
And that's why when she is in the phone booth, she can be saved by that other persons and see all those cars and people in the end.
But in the beginning all the streets were empty and such...
Because she was not going to run away into a world other people created for her, and that she knew if she couldnt slow down anything, bad things would happen.

But yeah.. I have to say it was a good job~
