How do I even begin to word my thoughts? lol
In my opinion, "Heartplace" is such a beautiful and powerful song. It is truly one of Ayu's best songs! I like to call it a masterpiece myself.
The lyrics are so pure, the arrangement is quite captivating, and the melody is beautiful. ...is it not? But wait a minute, how does it go?
When I first heard "Heartplace" and became familiar with it, I sang the song in a particular way. The notes I sang were the melody, or so I thought.
When I saw a live performance of this song, Ayu was singing a completely different melody. But then I thought, "Maybe I was just singing the harmony without realizing it?"
Like I said in the beginning of my post, I'm not even sure how to word my question here! Maybe it'd be easier if I recorded some audio, but, sadly, I have no equipment at the moment.
Anyone know what the real melody is? How do YOU sing the song? (What exactly am I trying to ask?
) Maybe I should just leave my post as it is for now and come back if and when there are replies...
