I really adore Kuu's new albums. They made me really hooked into Kuu again and strangely Ayu's new album didn't do that. I listened to NEXT LEVEL 4 times straight through and now I don't even find energy to listen to it anymore which is sad. I really am getting enough of Ayu at the moment so I decided to take a break from her. I did the same with Hikki and that was good call because now I adore Hikki more than I ever did.
But Kuu's albums. There only three songs I didn't like almost at all on Collaboration Best and those were That Ain't Cool, KAMEN and the meaning of peace. Latter is better than Kuu's solo version of the song but I still don't find any love for it. The songs that I loved were every other song on the album. Songs that I fell in love completely were WON'T BE LONG EXILE x Kuu-chan, Just Go, SWITCH, Super Sonic and Simple & Lovely.
Remix album was delicious. That even made me love it more when I realized it's a non-stop megamix which I adore so much. Also the remix album was a lot better quality than ayu-mi-x 6 was. I really liked the genres and the songs. I just wonder if Kuu was choosing the songs on the album herself? If she wasn't, then I don't think songs from affection would had been on the album, but I'm that TAKE BACK and COLOR OF SOUL were cause I love both of the songs. I also loved the remixes of Come Over, Ai no Uta, BUT, Butterfly and Cutie Honey. This remix album is what ayu-mi-x 6 should had been for me. DRIVING HIT'S > ayu-mi-x 6 -GOLD/SILVER- imo.
I really hope that both of these albums will sell well cause right now I really want Kuu to make success with these. Does anyone know how much these have sold so far? I'm very curious. :3
