I think people who like that kind of
mainstream American music (Chris Brown, Rihanna, Beyonce, etc) will generally like TITO. And the J-Pop community is known for being made up of mostly people who rip on American top 40, R&B, hip-hop or anything they find "too mainstream," so I'm not entirely surprised that there are people who are making these kind of complaints.
Of course 5 seconds after I post this someone's going to come in and say "I am a huge Rihanna/Chris Brown/Beyonce fan and I hate TITO omg!!" but whatever
I guess there are always going to be some fans who are unhappy with her works. And yeah, FuNsTyLe, you are very right
They are two different artists, and I don't ever want Utada to try to remake Utada Hikaru's music. It's just ridiculous. I would never buy an album of English stuff that sounds like ULTRA BLUE or something, that would just be a hot mess (and an even bigger flop than EXODUS).
