Woah, did like NO ONE release cds that week? It seems the only non Japanese new release that would have been any competition was Hannah Montana movie soundtrack. So really, nothing too major was released. Still though, it always impresses me how much Japanese artists sell in Japan alone compared to artists who are much more widely known.
And what is Pearl Jam's Ten doing on the charts? That album was released like 15 years ago.
Impressive that a re-release can do that well - just shows that quality music will always sell.
