yeap. no cancellation for books apparently.... this is what they said in the email:
"Kindly understand that Japanese book items and comic items cannot be cancelled or returned after the relevant order has been confirmed successfully. For such terms and conditions, you are kindly advised to refer to the “Important information about purchasing this item” stated in the respective product page. Hence, we regret to inform you that your cancellation request towards your order 5370500 will not be arranged."
