Haha, the "angry/serious" look? She's much prettier whenever she smiles for the camera instead of displaying a look suggesting that she wants to kill you.

There are a few pictures out there of Victoria where she's displaying a pretty and funny smile like these: a random photo of her smiling, a wedding photo, and another wedding photo with her child in her arms.

You didn't miss much on World Idol. In fact, they replaced the group sing with her song. Basically she lip-synched poorly to one of her new singles while wearing a tight red evening gown. There were "thuggish" male dancers dancing on the stage wearing attire that completely contrasted her tight red dress. Since she couldn't dance in the dress, I assume the director added the men for the eyecandy factor. It was quite. . . interesting. Either way, I still find it quite funny that she lip-synched on a show where contestants are judged on their live singing abilities. I thought Elton John's performance would make up for hers, but his surprisingly was worse. I'm sure you can find Victoria's performance on a p2p program.
