Wel... honestly, in one point i agree with u. Talent is based on her lyrics, and music compositions... And i don't know if she is a talented person. But from what i have heard about her, i state she is not good at what she does. Her music wasn't composed to be something harmonious, or beautiful... it was made to appeal to the masses or, in other words, to do something easy listening so it can make it to the charts. The pop music structures are really simple and don't search to do something with quality, i mean, this adjective it's not the main target or point in pop music these days. There is nothing unique or special about Gaga's music, but this
very conceited girl wants us to believe the opposite. That, to my eyes, makes her a bad musician. This, is an opinion only, of course.
BUt about the other thing... that's relative because these days any fool can sing. I don't want to offend anyone, but look at Britney Spears... she is going on tour and she doesn't even sing in her concerts ¿how can she be considered a singer if she doesn't sing live?
So much people doesn't care about talent. Good looks appeal more, apparently. And about Gaga, you can't deny she loves to get attention (actually a lot of people call her attention *****) with the subjects in her lyrics and her outrageous clothes. so honestly, with those points, i think it's hard to take her seriously as a musician... May be if she changes her image and the way she creates music, i'll change my mind about her
