If you've been deceived by the person you bought it from, approach them for a refund . Japan version is so expensive but the quality is the best, although I'm ok with OS presses for them too - I've never had this happen.

the PCDL 08-09 just started to have chinese hardsub, from the taiwan copy.

true, but at least you are 100% sure you are getting the best quality.
and i had been try to convince people that there IS difference in the JP vs OS version, and hardly anyone believe me, saying it's gibberish.
There had always been differences, it might not be so obvious, but if you put it on really BIG widescreen TV, like a 42 inch, it's more obvious. The OS version are a remake from the taiwan, who remake it from the japan version, and they always down the quality a little.

but this time it seems that they down the quality too far until a lot of people can tell, not good.
