Well, of course neither of us were there so there could have been any number of variations. Standing probably is easier, but only makes sense if the person is lying on something hard. It just seems very odd to me that in the 911 call he says the doctor is trying to revive him on the bed - I mean the first rule of CPR basically is to make sure the person is lying on something hard. Bottom line though, what happened, happened.
