I remember that once on a brazilian jpop forum, people were asking for protest songs on jpop... I cited my name's WOMEN, but someone cited some Mr. Children songs with social criticism...
Namie released some bold stuff too (Wild for example has some interesting statements), but as a divorced working mom, she is a controverse herself
