It all depends on the artist, but generally speaking I would say its more the opposite.
The girls, no matter how big a fan they are, generally behave and act more cool. Hardcore male Japanese fans though? Its seriously hard to predict what they might do. (Everyone on music station is a hard core fan of some performing artist on the show since you have to be a fanclub member in order to get into the taping.)
