It was a battle of the dancing queens, where only one could survive. 2NE1 narrowly defeated SNSD who were also strong at Mutizen Awards comeback stage. SNSD’s hit song Genie has been a huge success since the dawn of its conception, yet 2ne1’s urban edge won this battle.
Even Brown Eyed Girls, FT Island, 2pm, and Shinee could not beat the rookie group 2ne1 with their I Don’t Care hit.
It’s only one battle. By the end of the summer we’ll see who stands tall at the most competitive time of the year for Korean music.
