Hata Motohiro (秦基博) [born October 11th, 1980] is a J-Pop male singer who started off as a punk rock singer in 2004 with the release of his indie-rock mini-album, 「オレンジの背景の赤い静物」.

Through the next few years, he developed a more soulful and mainstream kind of music, and released his first single 「シンクロ」シンクロ (Synchro) in 2006.

With gaining popularity, Hata released his first contracted mini-album, 「僕らをつなぐもの」 (The Things That Hold Us Together) in 2007.

Hata now has moderate success and popularity in Japan, and has released one mini-album, two studio albums and 7 singles under his record company, Office Augusta Co., Ltd.
