^ yeah but I think the numbers posted on wiki are way too high to be true. Cuz as far as I know Japanese market is the 2nd largest music market in the world. Even though, without a doubt she is popular in Asia, cd sales in other Asian countries can hardly reach those numbers, plus the piracy in most of the other countries (most notably China) are on completely different level
and S.Korea prefers to legally download than purchase cds plus the majority of the international artists rarely sell over 30-40k with their studio albums there.
