Best Way of Life - Oricon

Quote:
Oricon readers in a new poll have voted Namie Amuro as the female entertainer who they thought had the best “way of life.” One respondent (Male/40s/Kyoto) voted for Amuro remarking how she has been capable of being a top artist while overcoming various things. Another respondent (Female/30s/Fukuoka) voted for Amuro because she’s able to shine as a woman while rearing children. Lastly, a female respondent from Shizuoka in her twenties felt that Amuro had become a symbol for independent women.

Diva Ayumi Hamasaki ranked at the second place for "where love is expressed in the lyrics of my life" (Kumamoto, Japan / 30's / men), on the other hand, "the job despite the illness" (Japan / 10's / women) and from the opinion of many readers, just like Amuro, Ayumi has overcome many hardships to shine more in her career.

The 3rd place's rock singer, Kaori Kawamura who recently passed away following her fight with breast cancer. The youngest of four ranked in TOP10 was YUI . "16 good years up to a dress. Despite having a fear, a great strength of faith to overcome it" (Hyogo / 10's / women), "decided to go into the music until high school dropout." (Hiroshima prefecture / 20's / men), and how many people have to admire her passion for music.
