JOURNEY is a pretty good album imo. Although it might not be as fun as Yasutaka Nakata's stuff, it's really nice and easy to listen to. And besides, Nakata's songs were becoming a tad repetitive, so JOURNEY is a nice change.
droplets, rush, journey and dawn are my favourite tracks. rush and droplets are so cute and it's so nice to hear MEG's real, undistorted vocals in the title track!
i not a fan of the smooth jazz sound of questions and just like that, and i tend to skip them quite a lot.
So, yeah, her new musical direction is not too bad at all, but it's more of a step sideways for MEG, rather than a step forward.
