I've heard about DBSK before but I wasn't interested in them until Rising Sun. I seriously thought it was the best thing ever back then lol. Then I landed on their acappellas on Youtube and that really sealed the deal. I searched more on them, watched as many videos on youtube as I could and just fell even more in love with them.
I think their venture to Japan broke them away from the idol image. Avex focused more on their skills than their image and the guys were able to earn people's respect through their vocals alone. None of that fancy, glitzy images like in Korea. They're respected alot more in Japan, people take them more seriously and that's what I want for them. The Korean media, SM, and their fans put too much pressure on them to always be the best whenever they're in Korea and that's really hard on the group.
