Maybe talkin' 2 myself was her lowest selling on 2007 and her lowest selling since For My Dear... but still if a single of now manages to sell like a single of 2 years ago it's still decent.
The average of female singers singles this year is like 90,000-100,000(-).
No solo female album that passed 400,000 this year but the coming compilations might make it happen (ayaka's best).
And then there will be no studio album by a female solo artist in the top 10 yearly.

I get what you mean; maybe it's time to set the bar lower for solo female singers. But again... watching the sales get lower and lower each time is really saddening... I should be glad though; she IS doing well for today's standards and all...
