Japanese singer Miliyah Kato’s new song ‘Destiny’ has been chosen as New Moon’s movie trailer song. ‘Destiny’ is a song written by Kato herself. This is the first time that Miliyah Kato’s music is used in a Hollywood movie.
Kato has released 5 albums since 2005, with all of her albums gaining top 5 in the Oricon charts. This much popularity for a 21 year old is such an achievement! So will Kato’s popularity in Japan be an advantage to the ticket sales of Twilight’s New Moon this November? Or will it have no effect at all?
Kato’s song ‘Destiny’ will be made available as the second track on her upcoming album ‘Why’album. ‘Why’ will be on sale from the 18th of November onwards!
Japanese fans of Miliyah Kato and Twilight, be sure to catch the film when it premieres in Japan on Nov. 28.
