Well, obviously physical sales are going to be less on the Billboard US, because here in the US, we really don't sell CD singles anymore, and more and more people are just downloading albums now.
I was looking up info about Ayu's singles, and even though they both reached #1, "Sunrise / Sunset" and "Mirrorcle World" only reached #2 on the Billboard Japan charts. I think Billboard JP is pretty new, because I couldn't find any chart info about singles released before MW. lol
