Personally, I think the song should suit the type of lyrics. We haven't seen the whole thing, therefore we won't know, right?
For example: Days lyrics were very sweet, and the instrumental was sweet so it made it very nice. Memorial Address had that rock, which really fit the lyrics. So in other words, if some lyrics will be dark, we might get dark. Sweet = sweet. I just hope it'll be epic, as it's the first single I'm pre-ordering from Ayumi.
