I think ayumi looks pretty because it's in Hiragana. I thought that most Japanese ppl write their personal (first in the US) names in Kanji or Katagana (names derived from non japanese origins) when they're older, but ayu still writes in Hiragana lol. I guess she's a child for life. But the kanji for Ayumi is 歩, or step.

Well, Ayu's name is 歩 really but I thought she wrote ayumi in hiragana as her artist name just to stand out...? Or am I totally wrong? I just thought I heard it somewhere...
