Yea she specifically mentioned that she knows it's a bad economy and that she didn't want her fans to pay a fortune to see her. I don't remember where, but she explained several times that they could push ticket prices down if they did smaller shows, more nights instead of one big show and one night.
Like New York, Radio City holds barely 6000 people and she's doing 4 nights. She could've easily done a bigger venue in one night. But, the tickets got bought up (or were already given to stubhub, damn you ticketmaster) and the prices are now insane anyway.
