I wonder if japanese people are starting to give up on buying singles? At least for some sorts of artists, not counting boybands and such?
Like someone mentioned earlier on this thread, GReeeeN's singles for Shio, Kosho sold really poorly and the album broke 1 million. And I was shocked when I found out that Namie's WILD/Dr. sold no more than 120k when she's at her 2nd peak, and her new album is doing great... obivously Ayu's current popularity doesn't compare to either of theirs right now and her album sales have been going down as well, but single sales seem to be getting harder and harder to predict...
(I'm still a bit disappointed, since I wanted this single to at least break 150k, which doesn't seem very likely )
