It seems I don't get the same impression about her acting as you. :/

That said, I like her acting in Subaru the most. Maybe because it's so dance oriented, and it was really only her and no overpowering other actors. But she also doesn't get that much screen time, the actress who plays her character as a child is in it as much as she is. For me it's like she always seem to play the boring beautiful sidekick-girl/love-interest/daughter without too many character-flaws, to any male guy. So she is typecasted and I hope to see her in some other roles. I don't hate her acting, I just think she is average and leaves room for improvement. But this is just all my opinion obviously. I also don't think Yamashita Tomohisa is a good actor, quite the opposite but he has a lot of fans and is often cast. It just depends on what you like in your actors.

No, she is not the worst.
But growing up in an catholic country, knowing nuns personally and all that I just can't take One Pound Gospel seriously. I know it's meant to be fun, but the concept of cloisters and nuns in it is just so unrealistic, so I don't really feel the drama and her character, too. Same for Ninkyo Helper. I like that drama and all but come on, a girl like Meisa Kuroki as a leader of a Yakuza group? Would never happen.

But that's drama for you...and she looks good and fierce as always.
Man that all sounds like I don't like her at all, which I do. Believe me.
