If you subscribe, the whole point is to receive e-mail reminders. So if you don't want e-mail reminders, you can turn this feature off in your control panel. Also at the bottom of each e-mail that you receive, there should be a link that says "Remove all of my subscriptions" or something like that (I don't remember exactly what it says.) Click that link and it'll remove the subscriptions.
