everything boils down to the talent agency in terms of marketing, not the record labels. avex trax only distributes the CDs. for example, ayumi hamasaki & Otsuka Ai are under avex entertainment, while Amuro Namie is under VISION FACTORY. but all the artists release their albums under avex trax.
i think T&T, V6, SMAP, & KANJANI8 are the only JE acts that aren't under a JE record label. J-ONE, J-Storm, & Johnny's Entertainment (the record label) are owned by Johnny's & Associates (JE groups talent agency). but record label doesn't matter though, J&A controls everything else.
but anyway, BACKBORN is pretty good, imho. and Tsubasa's looking hot again.
however, i really thought Tackey's last 3 singles were realllly good (his best solo-wise; i never really liked his solos on T&T releases) and i while i like BACKBORN, it's not his best solo song.
