Recently I happened to find Zin-san's original blog post.
http://ameblo.jp/zingown/entry-10164886576.html
The story is a little different but anyway Chon-chan (or Chon-san) is ayu herself.
Here's my translation. I'm sure there must be strange english
Quote:
Where Chon-chan came from...
When I sent my mail normally and soberly,
in my mail I mistakenly wrote "Ayu-chon" with no special intension.
I felt this is a good chance to make a nickname.
I added one more twist and made "Chon-san." However...
it was said "Doesn't it sound like a name of Korean person?"
So, we finally got "Chon-chan", which is cute.
Isn't it super Cawaii? (laugh)
This is a backstair nickname
which doesn't have even "A" of her original name. (laugh)
