I'm one of the people that found about Hikki through KH and about J-Pop through Hikki. For me though, I didn't buy the game and then like the song... It happened like this: I heard about the game and thought it would be stupid cause I hate Disney, so I wasn't even gonna look into it. Well, when they started airing the commercials, I would see them ALL the time and I fell in love with the song. I was pretty young (9 or 10?) and I didn't really know how to work the computer, so I couldn't find the song online.
So I actually bought KH just to find out who sang the song and so I could hear the whole thing. I did end up playing it and liking it quite a bit, but it started out as like "omg, i need to know who sings this song!!!11!" and after I found out her name I bought the COLORS single.  |
Scary, almost exactly the same as what happened to me.
Except I actually bought KH cause I liked the game but then I was like OMG this song is awesome
And COLORS was my first Hikki single too, and then I bought Exodus and I fell in love with her
Also I discovered J-pop through her, thanks to her I started listening to other artists as well, like Ayu.
Oh and my top 5.. very hard, but I'll give it a shot:
