m.c.A.T is the name that rapper/producer/songwriter Akio Togashi uses for his solo work. His biggest hit is "Bomb A Head!!" which is catchy to near-evil levels. He's also well-known as producer of the group DA PUMP, who were once guests on ayu ready?. You might also recognize his name from the A Song for XX album - he wrote and arranged "from your letter".
