If the reviews were really legit imo, then why would there be 69 out of 70 people saying that a "This release sucks." review is helpful to them with a positive review of 4/5 or 5/5 getting 5 out of 7 people saying it's helpful? I really don't find it strange. If you don't like a release and post your review of it, you are very likely to positively rate someone elses negative review as well. It's like "oh I agree with what this person wrote - they felt the same as me. Thumbs up for them too." The same thing happens when the majority opinion is positive. All the positive opinions get rated highly and the negative opinions get buried. Its just unfortunately the majority opinion is negative right now.
Many of the reviews do actually seem to be from fans as they are quite in depth. Also many from people who are former fans as well. But like I said, very few hater comments are there like Hamasaki sucks!!!! or something.
btw, yay for Don't Look Back not being directed by Kazuyoshi.
