My usual procedure when I get a new CDs is to put them on my iPod and then, we I have a free moment that day (normally in the evening) just sit down and listen to it. The full songs, one after another. I can hear it so much better on the headphones of my iPod.
Normally I don't have to be patient, the songs are over too soon
Since I only buy CDs of artist I really like.
