Because it's kind of funny to me that JASMINE could be #2 with 7k while SMAP is #1 with 65k. The difference between the two amounts makes me wonder what is actually normal for regular artists versus the big names.

#2 is excellent, but the album at #1 is almost 7 times the amount. What did the #20 album album sell that day, 5 copies?
An album by an artist on a major label selling an overall 30K or so is pretty much a failure sales wise. People get dropped when they don't sell well.
Again I'm going to emphasize that sales are not everything// Jasmine deserves sales just as good as any top seller in my opinion, and hopefully she'll get to that with future releases, but I just can't see how these sales can be praise worthy whatsoever. I guess some must be glad that she's charting at the very least.
