This is basically what I did when I first became an ayu fan. I went through her stuff in one day. lol One huge ass "listening for the first time" marathon.
When it comes to korea, I can never tell what is a single and what is an album. Sometimes a band will post something as an album, but it'll only be like 5 songs, and it'll even feature some remixes and instrumentals. I just think "wait...this is an album?..." and korea also seems to be a big fan of digital downloads. Some artists I know have more digital singles than they do physical ones.

I see what you mean, I don't buy many singles myself. But some times there are good exceptions. I don't know if you are a fan of meisa kuroki, but she released a single. a really cool one "Shock". Not a single song was featured on an album. So I went and bought it lol. The covers are amazing, the songs are amazing, I even think the cd+dvd version is first press limited edition, and none of the songs, strangely, were ever featured on an album. So that was one of the few times I bought a single.
