For a fan like me, Ayu was the artist who got me in into Trance, Eurobeat, etc. I adore most of her remixes. When Ayu used to do about 10 remixes on a single, I enjoyed them a lot! Not only was it worth the $20, but there were more tracks to enjoy then just a simple A and B side and instrumentals.
And yes people do put their hard work into the remixes, but that's their job! Producers wouldn't be in the business only if everything they did played in all the popular clubs. Artists like Ferry Corsten who have remixed for Ayu introduced me to his music and thus gained another fan. I'm sure I'm not the only Ayu fan to discover an artist over Ayu's remix albums. It's not pointless for Ayu to approach producers to do remixes for her. And hearing more versions of one song does not grow boring to me in the least bit. It's one of the things that are unique about Ayu, her remixes.

Yes AyuTrance and the remixes were what really made me fall for Ayu back in the day! And big ups for liking Ferry Corsten!
