Hmm.. there are a lot German bands I like when I hear them in the radio, but normally I forget to follow their releases later. Two bands I like are "Revolverheld" and "Kleinstadthelden". I guess you could translate the names as "Gunman/Gunhero" and "Small town heroes". Funny is that both bands are from my region

might be considered by some, but the lyrics are very meaningful. I like both bands for their funny and realistic lyrics. Sadly that won't come through to anyone who doesn't speak German..^-^"
