I think there's a general hate for the band where I'm from, because there's some sort of common understanding that anyone and everyone who listens to them are 14-year old "emo" girls or gay boys. Which I think is a horrible thing, because...well it's music. How you can draw that line, I do not know.
I don't like them much, except for a song or two.
