This will be my final reply on this subject, but I have to say I really enjoyed the discussion =)
I agree she is not overworking other singers... actually, IMO, every successful music act is always working on a aspect of their career they feel it's more important... Namie and Ayu makes everything possible to tour the most they can... This is what they love, this is them: touring, live performance, seeing their fans in the eyes while singing their songs... On the same way, Hikki enjoys working on her music, taking her time, experiementing, trying new sounds, or trying to see how well can she be at already popular sounds...
These are two aways of working with music... Being a musician that sometimes act as a performer, and being a performer that sometimes act as a musician
