Rihanna has often described her latest studio album, “Rated R,” as the product of a darker mood, given the turmoil in her personal life that has been so thoroughly documented in the media. Fans who did not enjoy the ride as much as the singer wanted them to can now breathe a sigh of relief as the next album, on which she’s already working, will mark her return from the dark zone back into life.
Famed producer Sean “The Pen” Garrett, whose work includes collaborations with Beyonce and Usher, confirms for Rap-Up that he’s already done a track with Rihanna – and, if we’re to believe him, it’s going to be epic. Guaranteed to be a hit single, unless something unexpected happens, the track is bound to bring the Rihanna from a couple of years ago back: fun and happy and, of course, with music to match such a lovable personality.
“I got a record on Rihanna’s new album. She’s got some suprises. The record I gave her was very, very positive, very big. It’s a [expletive] smash. I gave her a humongous radio record. It’s just so infectious. It’s about getting past any drama and just being happy to be alive. It’s an encouraging record. It feels great and it’s got great tempo,” The Pen says for Rap-Up of one of the tracks that will be included on Rihanna’s upcoming material. The producer is just as happy she’s finally coming back from her dark zone, he goes on to say.
“Whenever I think of Rihanna, it makes me happy. To be honest, I wasn’t really that excited about hearing her in a dark zone. I love Rihanna for being that girl… She’s like the lil’ fantasy chick – nice brown skin, beautiful woman with a Caribbean swagger that’s ridiculous,” The Pen says. So he made her a guaranteed hit once it’s out. “I made sure that it was bulletproof. It should be a single unless something crazy happens. It’s hot as [expletive]. I think it’s a record that’s gonna stay on the radio for a long time,” the producer adds.

I liked Rated R as I liked GGGB but I'm more into Rihanna's dance/pop-tracks and on RR was only Rude Boy.. (and maybe Photographs)
