It's not really harassment either. She sent 5 or 6 messages out of the hundreds that Ayu receives and (possibly) reads, and she probably thought Ayu wouldn't even look at them.
Of course it's stupid. That's why it's funny to us, who understand her...the little that we may.
What's really sad is that, it's actually possible for her to get this much of a rise out of people.
Ayu certainly didn't react that way and, to me, that's what counts. I think she recognized it as, either a joke, or, a longing of a fan to get attention from her.
Either way, it's not as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be.

I don't really find it that big a deal and I'm not angry about it (even though I give off that vibe, ne? xD) but at the same time, I don't think "she was just joking" should be an excuse for what she did. You're right, not everyone will understand her, I most certainly don't. So she should be careful from now on as to how she treats people. Because she may just have pissed off Ayu fans today, but she might make a joke to someone who will not find it so "haha funny" and it could have major consequences. I just hope she understands that much.
