To me the concept of the PV is simple: you can have the pretty house, with the pretty pool (material) but if you don't have love around you, than your life is a mess.

I agree, the length of the kids and pool scenes vs the short end scene made the contrast that much bigger and more surprising.
It has to be a reflection of what's on her mind and it's really quite sad if you look at it like fantasy vs reality for her.
I didn't have any problem with the white kids calling her mom, she's the most white looking Asian person ever anyway, lol. In some parts of Virgin Road she didn't look Asian at all.
