Uehara Kōroku (上原耕緑) passed away on the 5th due to heart failure at a hospital in Okinawa. He was 60.
Takako couldn't acompany him in his last moments. When the news came out, she immediately cancelled her working scheduIe and returned to her home in Okinawa.
Her management has not disclosed any further details of his sudden death, but it is known that her father had already been receiving artificial dialysis from a long time ago.
Takako's left with her mother Uehara Keiko (上原恵子), older sister and brother now.
The funeral will be held on Friday, October 8th in Itomanshi (糸満市) in Okinawa.
