Ok here is my opinion, and after about 4 listens, the album is actually not that bad, even fun.
This is what I posted at Itai tegami, where most people seem to be very upset about the album;

I love Zeroshiki, Chemical Parade Blue Day, Polaris and I Am Computer/ Lion could have been an amazing song up to chorus.
Daraku was awful, other than Tatsurou's beautiful crooning in the middle of the song, all it did was make me pick on the English pronounciation and wonder how Shiina Ringo could have done the song better. I will give Tatsurou credit for writing lyrics that have depth and actually make sense.
Hane was a step up from tsubasa and shiva but I really dislike these type of songs from MUCC. I don't know why they like to end alot of their albums with these kind of songs.
The single tracks are still nothing special and I have to say that I can't tell the difference between the Karma versions and the original versions.

Overall, the album's theme is very clear, and considerig the theme I can kind of understand the choice of musical style. Sometimes, the songs made me think of Ayu (Hane reminded me of virgin Road and A of As if... not a bad thing, but an interesting association)
I love of MUCC's intense rock and metal flavoured songs, but I also love alot of their softer tracks and more than anything, I love their versatlity and I think this album still retains a bit of that MUCC touch in alot of songs like Zeroshiki, Polaris and Lion (minus the chorus, lol). I do wish they'd drop the vocoders and synthesizers but this is an album without awesome guitars or bass but its still enjoyable in its own way and tons of fun to sing along to most of the songs.
