I think, from her twitters anyway, she has a joke with her fans and does appreciate them. For example, I saw someone had 'dedicated' their 100th tweet to her and she thanked them lol, which was sweet

But in the end she makes it more clear than other artist that she has a divide between when she performs as an artist and her personal life. And maybe she's sour about her life being all about singing, hence the big hiatus she's announced. But who knows? Hikki is quirky we all know that And maybe she is cold and distant, and I'm sure if her parents hadn't introduced her to the recording world she wouldn't of become a singer. That said she obviously enjoys singing now or else she would of quit, but she might become a little more warmer to her fans after the hiatus, who knows~
