honestly and personally speaking, i do think kpop
is overrated. i actually read more about kpop than jpop on some forums that i frequent and it's kinda annoying to me. i did listen to the wonder girls for a very short time back in 2008, but they didn't really interest me after a few more songs. i feel as if in kpop, there's not much variety compared to jpop. all i see/read/hear about is the same girl groups and boy bands with the same type of pop/dance songs. i do listen to BoA, but i never heard her korean songs. i'd rather stick to her japanese songs (which i love, anyway).
i seriously feel as if jpop is slowly getting underrated nowadays thanks to all these korean groups. to me it's pretty sad lol.
