The problem for me with Kpop is that most of the boy or girls bands are one or two hit wonders; they these songs that are seriously amazing and the rest is all mediocre and only the bands 'personality' or attitude is what keeps them in the public eye. But I think the same thing of certain aspects Jpop like Johnny's or other idol groups like AKB or morning musume (except imo the Kpop idols have better hit songs than the equivalent Japanese groups)
